Thanks for checking out my bio! My name is Kara Kennedy O'Connell. I was raised in Downers Grove, lived in Chicago for a few years after college, and then moved to La Grange 16 years ago.
I am familiar with the entire Chicago metropolitan area and know the West/Southwest suburbs like the back of my hand! Not just the real estate market, but the communities themselves. That’s important because what you are looking to buy or sell is not just a house, but a home and buying or selling a home is a tremendous personal and financial investment.
As for real estate - it's kind of in my blood. I grew up with my mother working as an extremely successful Realtor and being around it for so many years made the business second nature for me.

I got my degree from Indiana University in Business Marketing and subsequently held positions in marketing research, sales, and customer service over the years. I have been very involved in volunteer activities within the school and church communities in the western suburbs.
